The Creature in a Miniascape  (2014)

This is a shaggy creature that has lived in a miniscape. If you stroke it by your hand, then it wiggles.
This project was exhibited at Maker Faire Tokyo 2015.

箱庭で生きる、毛むくじゃらの生き物です。撫でると反応します。
本作品は、Maker Faire Tokyo 2015にて展示・実演しました。

System/しくみ

An electrostatic sensor can detect your hand is put in the box. So two small servos with shaggy are driven randomly. They are controlled by Arduino.

箱の中には静電センサが入っており、毛並みに手を伸ばすと感知。毛に覆われた小型サーボ2個が、ランダムに動きます。サーボはArduinoによって制御されています。
