The Mobility for a Doll (2013)

This is a vehicle for a doll. The ball jointed dolls are present in hobby applications now and their height is about 60cm. They are giving happiness to the life of doll lovers including me.
This mobility is the vehicle of cat type for the doll to move freely. However, since it is not possible for a doll to drive itself, a human controls the vehicle on the iPad App instead.
This was exhibited and demonstrated at the Maker Fair Tokyo 2013 and 2014.
* For motor control using the Konashi of this work was in reference to “the self-made radio control to be operated from the iPhone” of Mr. chan-shiro. I used part of the code of this software.

これは人形のための乗り物です。全高50cm～60cmサイズの球体関節人形がホビー用途で存在し、私を含め愛好者の生活に潤いを与えてくれています。この作品は、それらドールが自ら自由に移動するための、1人乗りの移動手段です。端的に言うと人形用のパーソナルモビリティです。但し現時点では人形が自ら運転することは出来ないため、代わりに人間がiPadのアプリで乗り物を制御します。
Maker Faire Tokyo 2013および2014にて展示、実演しました。
*本作品のKonashiを用いたモータ制御については、chan-shiro様の「iPhoneから操作する自作ラジコン」を参考にし、ソフトウェアのコードの一部を使用させて頂きました。
